I wanted to begin my first entry with a brief history into the woman behind Marie's fashion, Rose Bertin. She clothed our Lady for 20 years and is the master behind not only Marie's clothing but her famous pouf of hair as well. Rose is considered by many historians (and fashionistas alike) as the first well-known French fashion designer. She helped to kick off the couture Parisian fashions that we all know and love today.
